When printing labels it is best to use the Bypass tray
Select Paper Source: Bypass Tray
Load labels in Bypass Tray after print job is sent
Start with Paper Type: Thick 1
If Ink smudges or appears faded increase to Thick 2 and so on.
Changing to Thinker Paper Type will slow the paper going through and adjust the temperature inside the MFP to allow the ink more time to fuse to the thicker paper.
NOTE: It is not advised to run labels through the MFP more than once
After you send the print job and go to the MFP load your label sheet in the bypass tray
If you see this screen asking to change paper type to Think 1
Select Thick 1 and then press the blue start button
This message will only pop up if the MFP does not know what is in the bypass tray
