Assign Weights to Grades

  1. Log in to Canvas and click on your course.
  2. In the left hand menu, click on “Assignments.”

     
  3. In the upper right-hand corner, click on the “three dots.”

     
  4. From the drop down menu, click on “Assignment Group Weight.”

     
  5. In the new window, click on the box next to “Weight final grade based on assignment groups.”

     
  6. Enter weights in the boxes next to each group then click on “Save.”
