Deactivate Students in Canvas

  1. Log in to Canvas and click on your course.
  2. In the Course Navigation Menu on the left, click on “People.”

     
  3. Find the student that you wish to deactivate in the list. Click on the “Three Dots” to the far right of the student’s name. Then click on “Deactivate User” from the drop down menu.

     
  4. You will see an “inactive” icon next to the student’s name.
