Khanmigo Teacher Tools in Canvas

Khanmigo is a set of free AI tools from Khan Academy that is available in Canvas to help instructors design their courses.  

  1. Login to Canvas and click on a course.
  2. In the Canvas course, click on Settings in the lefthand menu.
  3. In the Settings page, click on the Navigation tab towards the top of the screen.

 

  1. In the Navigation section, scroll to the bottom of the page and hover over Khanmigo Teacher Tools.  Click on the three dots on the right and click on Enable.  Then click on Save.

 

  1. Khanmigo Teacher Tools will appear in the lefthand menu.  Click on it to open Khanmigo.

 

  1. In the Khanmigo Teacher Tools page, click on “Sign up for FREE” to create a Khan Academy account.  Or click on “Already have an account? Log in” if you already have a Khan Academy account.  After clicking on either choice, follow the prompts.

 

  1. After logging in, all the AI tools available in Khanmigo will display.  Click on any icon to begin using a tool.
