Body
All current SU members (students, faculty, and staff) are provided with a LinkedIn Learning Account. When activating your account, you will be prompted to connect it to an existing LinkedIn account that you may already have. If you chose to do this, you will be able to add badges earned by completing courses and videos directly to your LinkedIn profile to display your skills. This is not a requirement, but be aware that you will be prompted to sign in with your LinkedIn account credentials in conjunction with your SU credentials.
We have noticed that many students and employees inadvertently try to sign up LinkedIn Premium (https://premium.linkedin.com/), which is different than but also includes LinkedIn Learning. LinkedIn Premium is not free or provided by SU.
Students and employees should ensure that they are going to the LinkedIn Learning URL:
https://www.linkedin.com/learning/
Prior to logging into your complimentary LinkedIn Learning account, you must first perform a 1-time activation of your account, using one of the methods below:
Choose a method below to activate your account if you have not yet.
Activate via Single-Sign-On
You can activate your account via Single-Sign-On by going here: https://lnkd.in/g-hMSEZ
You will see the SU SSO screen that you do for many other applications like below. This is the easiest way to activate your account. If you are already activated, you will be able to sign in directly.
Activate via Email Address
You can activate your SU LinkedIn Learning account by going here: www.linkedin.com/learning/activate
At that site, you should type in your SU email address, which will then send you activation instructions to that address. Then, just continue with the activation as prompted. If you activate via SSO instructions above, you do not need to do this step.
If you experience any issues, please contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@susqu.edu or 570-372-4502.
