Regrading Quiz Question in Classic Quiz

If you accidentally provided your students with the wrong ‘correct answer’ before the quiz was completed by your students, and need to regrade the question, please follow these instructions.

If you accidentally provided your students with the wrong ‘correct answer’ before the quiz was completed by your students, and need to re-grade the question, please follow these instructions.

PLEASE NOTE: If all students will be affected by the re-grade, wait for all students to turn in their submissions.
RE-GRADING IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ESSAY OR FILE UPLOAD QUESTIONS.

 

1. Click on ‘Quizzes’ in your Course Navigation Menu
   
    
2. Find the quiz you want to make the re-grade in.
   1. click the vertical ellipses to the right
   2. click the ‘Edit’ button

3. Click on the ‘Questions’ tab
    
4. Find the question you want to make the edit and click the pencil icon
   
    
5. Select new correct answer
   
   NOTE: Adding or deleting answers from a question with submissions disables the option to re-grade that question.
    
6. Select re-grade option, click update once selection is made.
   
    
7. Update question
   
    
8. Save quiz
