Adding Questions to a Classic Quiz

Body

  1. Log onto Canvas (https://susqu.instructure.com) using your SU Account.
     
  2. Click on the course where you want to add questions to a Classic Quiz.
     
  3. If you are not in Quizzes, click on ‘Quizzes’ in the course navigation menu.

     
  4. Click on the Classic Quiz you wish to add questions to.

     
  5. Click on the ‘Questions’ tab in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, followed by clicking the ‘+ New Question’ button.

     
  6. Design your question. (1. Give the question a name, 2. Select question type, 3. Add point value, 4. Type your question.)

    ***NOTE: Depending on what question type you are creating, there will be extra work involved. For example, for a multiple choice question, you will have to type out your answers in the spaces provided, and click on the correct response.
  1. When your question is complete, click ‘Update Question.’

     
  2. Save your quiz. (Orange Save Button: Saves without publishing, Save & Publish Button: Saves and publishing.)
