Installing EMS Desktop Client

Body

  1. Navigate to ( https://ems.susqu.edu/EmsDesktopWebDeploy/ ) preferably in chrome

Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  1. Click “Download and Install the EMS Desktop Client” Save Both files to somewhere you will remember
    1. EMSApplication.exe
    2. Emswebdeployconfiguration.cfg
      1. Chrome may try to block install, right side of address bar should be an allow install
  2. Run EMSApplication.exe     Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)        
  3. An EMS desktop icon will appear on your desktop
    1. If you already had an EMS icon it will automatically be replaced with the new EMSUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Launch EMS application
  5. If prompted for server and database add below information.
    1. Server: su-sql01
    2. Database: EMSData_prod
