What should I know if I am a hiring manager and need to request an @susqu.edu account for my new employee?

All employee accounts (including volunteers, temporary staff, consultants, contractors, and per diem staff) are created by IT only under the explicit request from Human Resources.  Once HR prerequisites are completed by the hiring department and new hire, HR will submit an account creation request to the IT Help Desk with the pertinent information needed by IT. 

IT requires one business day notice, at bare minimum, to create user accounts.  Please ensure adequate time for this HR/IT work flow to allow account creation to occur prior to employee’s start date.  HR will provide the new employee their account information and IT’s account setup guide as part of their welcome communication.
